This is the time of year to start enjoying the spring weather, and look forward to the end of the school year, and to summer. Your boys and girls are probaby hoping you have some fun and exciting adventures planned for them, so here’s the information you’ve been looking for! Cybercamps Academy is announcing registration for tech summer camp located at De Anza College in Cupertino, California. This summer camp location is located in the heart of the Silicone Valley, home to Apple, Google, Yahoo! and HP. There are 6 action packed fun filled summer tech camp sessions planned for boys and girls ages 10 – 17. This location is a summer day camp, with the hours of 8:00 am thru 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. (Families are encouraged to arrive early on Friday to enjoy some time with the kids in the lab, and view the weeks projects.)
Kids can choose summer tech camp sessions in their area of interest in either the multi media user or gamer areas.
The multi media series is for kids that want to go beyond just surfing the internet, and want to create their own online presence. Cybercamps offers classes in web design, flash animation, and graphic design with photoshop.
The gamer series is for kids interested in video games that would like to learn more about how they’re made, and may want to make on themselves! Cybercamps offers classes in game design, 3D game creation, game modding: Warcraft 3, or Game Modding: Half life 2.
In addition to lab time working on individual projects, the kids also have fun outdoor activities. Youth can brown bag their lunch, or, for a small additional fee the staff can provide lunches for your child.
Please keep in mind that the classes fill quickly, and several of the sessions are nearly sold out at the time of this posting. You are encouraged to register early to ensure the sessions you need.
