Is your boy or girl looking for an exciting experience this summer? Are they interested in game design or multimedia? My son went to Cybercamps last summer for 2 one week sessions, and he loved it!!! He got to stay in the dorms at UCLA, walk all around campus, access to the Cybercamps computer lab, and outdoor play time too!! He was 11 last summer, and he had the time of his life! He’s going back again this summer, too! If this sound like something your child would like, it’s something to look into! Cybercamps is now registering for summer camp programs at University of California San Diego. (And also 50+ other locations across the US.) Here in La Jolla at UCSD there are 6 sessions available. Most sessions offer day camp as well as overnight residential camp options. These summer camps are for boys and girls ages 10 – 17. Cybercamps are fun tech summer camps for kids offering courses in two interest areas for youth at this location:
For the youth interested in Gamer: Game Design, 3D Game Creation, Game Modding: Warcraft 3, Game Modding: Half-Life 2
For the youth interested in Multimedia User: Web Design, Flash Animation, Graphic Design with Photoshop

There are 6 sessions for this camp, all offer residential option EXCEPT 6/30 – 7/4. Hours for the day campers are 8:30 am thru 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday. Families are encouraged to come early on Friday to view the students projects and meet the staff. This Cybercamps location also has the option available for extended hours and lunch for the day campers, at a small additional fee.
